“Pastel Painting,” with Lorili Ostman, Thursdays, February 11 & 18 – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Fee – $40.00 (optional $15 materials fee). Pastel paintings are beautifully expressive. You will explore soft and hard pastels by emulating elements of a landscape shown - Oak trees and hay bales. You will have two class sessions to complete your masterpiece. You will build on current artistic sensibilities to create a composition, sketch in an under drawing, and apply layers of color with hard and soft pastels to create a pastel painting.
